Panoramic Views of the Fells

Using software from www.clevr.com some panoramic photographs have been created by Caroline Mathews.

The first is of the fells north of Warcop as seen from the loading dock at Warcop Station. It comprises 60 individual images "stitched" together. As a first attempt I was very pleased with this: I had to omit four of the images I took, and there is a slight fuzziness in one place, presumably because of a slight change in the tripod position.

Information on the various fells and other features will be added soon.

The second one is a closer view of the fells to the north of Warcop as seen from the loading dock at Warcop Station. It comprises only 24 individual images, which is why some of the detail is somewhat coarse, and is somewhat marred by a blob on the lens of the camera used.

There is another panorama to be seen, this being in the Model Railways section of the site.
